A place where everyone is welcome and all bikes belong.

We believe that Boise has the potential to be the “Bicycling Capital of America” and we strive to help the city obtain that title every day. BBP is the only nonprofit to earn Platinum Level Bicycle Friendly Business (in fact, there are only 9 business in the whole country) from The League of American Cyclists.

-BBP is a Member and Volunteer supported organization, and a Nonprofit Bicycle Cooperative

-BBP invites you to become a valued Member and/or Volunteer and help sustain our programs:

As Boise’s only DIY bike shop cooperative, we rely on Members for support, decision-making and spreading BBP’s message

-Become a part of BBP as a Member, a Volunteer, by donating and by spreading the BBP message!

Hey there BBP community! With all of the hubbub around Open Streets Boise and our October Membership Drive, we are reminding you last minute that FEM Night is happening TONIGHT, October 2nd, from 6 - 8 PM in our shop.

We’re going to have 14 awesome prizes from HANDUP that we’ll be giving away! Lost Grove Brewing - La Pointe will generously be providing free b**r at this FEM Night, and we encourage you to bring your bike and a dish to share!

FEM Night is our way to create a safe space for women and folks in the LGBTQ+ community to learn bike mechanics. If you’re not part of this group, we invite you to check out additional shop classes and events on our calendar at boisebicycleproject.org/calendar

Our shop will be closed this Saturday, September 19th! As our team gears up for Open Streets Boise, we're going to make sure to get some rest before the big week leading up to it. We will be open this Thursday and Friday, and then will resume regular business hours on Wednesday, September 23rd, from 11 AM to 6 PM. Thank you for your understanding!

Last Wednesday, we were thrilled to host a bike audit in the Collister Neighborhood with support from the AARP before Open Streets Boise!A team of BBP volunteers, neighborhood representatives, safe streets advocates, and policymakers (special thanks to ACHD Commission President Gold for attending!) came together to observe critical neighborhood intersections during drive-time traffic. As an ongoing part of our Open Streets campaign, we seek to partner with our host neighborhoods to help organize conversations around their concerns for safety in their neighborhood and dreams for infrastructure in their streets to leave behind a safer community.Keep an eye out for further surveys in the neighborhood, come talk with us at Open Streets Boise on September 27th about these efforts, and save the date to join our Advocacy meeting on November 18th to learn more about our findings!
