Smooth walls don’t just happen. 🔨➡️✨

Taping, mudding and skimming, then doing it again until the walls and ceiling look like glass. Every corner gets knifed clean and every seam gets feathered out, so the finish is ready for paint and never has to be patched later.

Next up: this bathroom. Framing’s in, rough plumbing’s set, and tile is on deck. Stay tuned.

Wait for it... 👀

Same kitchen. Whole new story. 🔨 Full gut renovation, down to the studs and back — from dated to timeless.

This one had everything: custom inset cabinetry, marble countertops, handmade zellige tile, a glass-front hutch, w**e fridge + microwave drawer built into the island, and a chef’s range under a custom wood hood. A kitchen worth cooking in.

Another one done right by Fidelity Construction.

Flip Friday, Week 2: Weymouth 🏠

Big week on the South Shore cape. Here’s where we landed:

✅ Inspections passed
🧱 Insulation in and most of the open walls closed back up
🚪 Garage door replaced
🪵 Siding delivered and staged, so the outside gets its turn next
🚿 New shower pan set and the bath framed up
🛏️ Upstairs bedrooms prepped, and yes, the pink room is getting a new look

It’s the part of the job nobody sees in the after photos, but it’s what makes the after photos possible.

Next up: siding starts going on. Any guesses on the color? 👇

Follow along so you don’t miss next Friday’s update.

Small job, done right.

A worn gas cooktop out. A BlueStar induction cooktop in, fit into the existing countertop. What made it a real project is slide 4: a downdraft blower fitted inside the island and ducted through the basement to the outside — so there's no hood hanging over the island and nothing recirculating.

Not every job is a gut renovation. The standard doesn't change.

Same doorway, four months apart.

Slide 1 is the bathroom as we found it in May. Slide 2 is the same view last week: down to the slab, plumbing wall open, ceiling to the joists.

Slide 3 is why. Behind the tile we found deteriorated framing and old wire lath — exactly the kind of thing a surface refresh buries for another twenty years. A gut is more work up front. It's also the only way to stand behind what goes back in.

Kitchen and floors are getting the same treatment. Finished photos in a few weeks.

Flip Friday, Week 1: Weymouth 🏠

We just took on a classic South Shore cape in Weymouth, and every Friday we’re bringing you along from start to finish.

This one isn’t a gut. The bones are solid, so we’re giving it a full makeover instead: new windows are already in (stickers and all), and we’re working room by room on fresh walls, ceilings, floors, paint, and finishes to bring this house back to life.

Some of the “before” is still hanging around upstairs, so you can see exactly where we started.

Drop your guesses below: what should the first room we finish be? 👇

From worn-out to one-of-a-kind in Newton 🔨

This center-entrance colonial foyer got the full treatment — we gutted the floors down to the original planks, opened up the ceiling to fix the structure the right way, then rebuilt it piece by piece.

The staircase is the star: we bent and glued that curved oak handrail in place by hand (swipe to see it in the clamps 👀), set new custom newels and balusters, refinished every tread, and finished it off with a slate tile floor and that blue wainscoting.

4 Weeks, start to finish. Swipe through for the full transformation — the before shots make it worth it. ➡️

Want to know if you hired the right contractor? Don’t look at the finish work first — look at the demo. Look at the trash. Look at the jobsite at 7am.

Your home deserves respect from day one, not just on delivery day. A clean, organized site means fewer mistakes, safer crews, and a better final product. The way we treat the mess is the way we treat the work. 💪

Every in-law suite needs its own little heart ☕🧺

This Newton family wanted their in-laws to have real independence upstairs — so we carved a full kitchenette AND laundry out of one unused corner.

Behind those pretty blue cabinets is where the real work happened: we opened up the wall and ran all-new plumbing — drains, supply lines, washer hookups — from scratch (swipe for the before and the rough-in 👀).

Then the fun part: custom blue cabinetry, quartz counters, undermount sink, subway tile, a stacked LG WashTower, and a spot for the coffee maker.

Morning coffee, a load of laundry, and zero trips downstairs. That's the whole point. ➡️

We recently completed a major window upgrade in Newton, MA, swapping out 14 original double-hung windows for 7 new, high-efficiency Andersen 100 Series gliding windows. By streamlining the window layout, we’ve significantly improved both the thermal performance and the clean, modern aesthetic of this sunroom. From the precision exterior flashing and cedar shingle siding repairs to the interior beadboard finishing, our team ensured every detail met our standard for quality. A well-executed window replacement makes a world of difference in a home's comfort and curb appeal.
