Thankful for the systems I’ve built for me over many years based on my experiences that have helped me get through dark times.

The tough days, the challenging moments in life, I refer to them as the “you vs you” days. That’s when you find out what you are truly made of.

When we learn not to personalize anything, double down on our strengths and be present with the people we love the most, life becomes simple.

Show up for others who may not know how to process that information. It takes work, it takes time and nothing you think is hard is actually hard.

Life is meant to be hard, school is hard, working is hard, staying in shape is hard, getting up early is hard, losing a loved one is hard, having a weak mindset is hard, having a strong mindset is hard….

The list you hope is a short one is not. You choose your level of hard and learn how to recover from challenges in life we don’t control.

My health, faith, family, and finances are what I choose to focus on.

What are you focused on?

Systems for all of them lead to daily growth, which leads to compound interest in our all-around life.

Build better systems, be consistent, remove negativity from around you and you too will notice the difference over time.

The alternative is to keep doing what you have always done and you’ll keep getting the same results every time.

Check on yourself, check on your friends and be grateful you get to lead.

They say the first born daughter is just like the father. Mannerisms, thought process, sense of humor and resembles much of her dad.

Ever since she opened her little eyes, Sofia has been on a mission.

A mission to…change daddy. Did she know it, probably not.

I am not the same human as I was before 2015. She softened a man who saw life a different way based on experiences.

Sofia reminded me life is a gift, the seasons throughout the year are Gods gift & to treasure every moment we are alive.

I nicknamed her our earth child but who knew she would be equally witty, smarter than me and was force to wrecked with?

She never settles, she’s about peace not war & wants to save every animal in the world. I hope she realizes she helped daddy by motivating me to become the best version of me.

Yesterday we celebrated her birthday and all I could think is wow, how time flies and I don’t want to miss any moment in my family’s life.

Thankful Sofia pushed me and whatever she missed Madeline threw me to the next level of ambition. They both along with my beautiful wife have helped me find balance in a mind that has always gone a million miles per hour.

Happy birthday Sofia, papi y mami love you. Go get em!!!❤️🥹💪🏼

Everybody tells you, “it goes by fast.”

What most people don’t warn you about is how important it is to be present.

I built my life intentionally to be there as much as possible for my family and I still wish time didn’t move as fast as it does.

To new fathers, I know it is challenging in those early years. Trust me you will miss those long nights, early mornings sitting with your little girl when the entire world seems to be sleeping.

Now to embrace 9, Maddie’s last year of single digits. ❤️
