We’re not saying these two have a full-contact wrestling league in the backyard…

…but we’re also not not saying that.

Bob and Rob are brothers, best friends, and part-time chaos coordinators. They spend their days playing, exploring, tackling each other, and looking outrageously cute while doing it. They are smart and eager to please.

Both boys landed in a shelter with a skin issue, which is often enough to make puppies invisible. Their skin has been treated, they’re healthy, happy, and ready to move on to bigger and better things.

If you’re looking for a puppy who will keep you laughing, keep you on your toes, and then crash on the couch like they’ve worked a double shift, these boys may be your match.

🐾 This is Bob. 🐾

A black pittie mix with a tiny mohawk, a little tongue that peeks out when he’s happy, and absolutely no idea how close he came to never getting this chance.

Bob and his brother landed in a shelter with a skin condition. For dogs like them, that’s often all it takes to be overlooked(or more likely, the decision to euthanize).

But look at him now.

His skin is healed. His tail still wags. He still believes people are good.

He’s sweet, smart, eager to please, and ready for a family of his own.

The heartbreaking part? Bob is still waiting.

Waiting for a foster.
Waiting for an adopter.
Waiting for someone to see what we see.

Anyone else have a crazy Monday, or is it just me? 😅

Anyways, I’m dropping a photo below of some of our adoptable crew! Some are already here soaking up the good life in foster homes, some arrive next week, and a few more are headed our way after the Fourth of July.

And believe it or not… we have cats incoming again. 👀🐱 One adult (just wait until you hear that story) and two kittens. We’ll see where things go from there before making plans for more, but we’re excited to help however we can.

We are Big Wave Dog Rescue, and while dogs will always be our main focus, at the end of the day we’re here to help animals in need find safe landings and great homes.

We promised we’d come back for them. Now we just need somewhere for them to go. ❤️🐾

A few weeks ago, Collette and Corinth watched their siblings leave for a new life while they stayed behind. Not because there was anything wrong with them. Not because they weren’t wanted. Simply because we didn’t have enough foster homes.

Now it’s finally their turn.

These two beautiful pups are scheduled to arrive next weekend, but right now they have nowhere to land. No foster home. No adopter. No soft bed waiting for them.

Collette, with her adorable black face, and Corinth, with his stunning tricolor markings, deserve the same chance their siblings received.
