The countdown is on! The 2026 Massachusetts Speech-Language-Hearing Association (MSHA) Convention is just around the corner.

πŸ“… Date: Monday, July 27, 2026
⏰ Time: 8 AM - 6 PM
πŸ“ Location: Convene One Boston Place

We’re excited to see many members of the MGH IHP CSD and SLPD communities represented throughout this year’s outstanding program, with several of our alumni sharing their expertise as presenters. The full program is now available on the Massachusetts Speech Language Hearing Association website.

We’re especially proud that our own alumna, Jennifer Mackey, SLP.D., CCC-SLP, is serving as the current President of MSHA. Jen’s leadership has centered on strengthening our profession by promoting the value of state association membership through networking, advocacy, and high-quality continuing education.

Whether you’re attending to learn, connect with colleagues, earn ASHA CEUs, or support our profession, this is an event you won’t want to miss. We look forward to seeing many of our alumni, students, faculty, and friends there.

A doctorate program is only as strong as the people who bring it to life β€” and our SLPD faculty team does just that with heart, time, expertise, leadership, and an unwavering commitment to student success.

We are deeply grateful for their mentorship and dedication to preparing the next generation of speech-language pathology leaders. They continue to inspire students to think critically, lead boldly, and advance our profession with purpose.

Thank you to our incredible SLPD faculty team for all that you do. Our students are so lucky to have you!
