Time is running out to move the FARM Bill to the House floor before formal session ends on July 31!

We need your help! The Massachusetts Food System Collaborative is calling on our partners to reach out to House leadership, to ask them to move the FARM bill, H.4854, out of House Ways and Means to the House floor for debate and passage so the bill can be put into law.

This bill is urgently needed to support our local food system. It includes:
-codifying FSIG into law,
-protecting the whole farm in the APR program,
-establishing a Next Generation Farmer Fund,
-including the food system in emergency planning,
-establishing a Vacant Lots to Urban Agriculture Fund, and more!

Legislators are hearing about a variety of priorities right now, so we need to make sure the FARM Bill doesn’t get lost in the noise. Please keep calling!

🌽🍅 What does it take to feed a community?

Join us for Los Bocados, an interactive theatre experience exploring food justice, community, and the stories behind what ends up on our tables. Created through a collaboration between Hyde Square Task Force and Northeastern University's Data Theatre Collaborative, this production invites audiences to listen, reflect, share, and imagine a more just food system together.

We're especially proud to celebrate the incredible HSTF youth artists who are bringing this work to life alongside HSTF staff members, both on stage and behind the scenes. Their creativity, leadership, and lived experiences are at the heart of this production.
