[1 More day until Fourth of July!] Looking for ways to level up your 4th of July celebrations? Here are some tips from our friends at :

Tip 1: The drink of the summer is a Dirty Shirley –a Shirley Temple with vodka, grenadine, topped off with either club soda, ginger ale or sprite, add a slice of orange and some Luxardo cherries, and you’re all set!

Tip 2: Try to get as much done before your guests arrive. Have your beverage area set up and have as much of the food ready as possible so all you need to do is do the finishing touches.

Tip 3: Be sure to have some fun music playing, light a few candles and be sure to dim your lights (nobody looks good in 100 watt overhead lighting).

Starting the countdown to Independence Day! We asked our vendors to share their perfect BBQ tips and this is what had to say:

Tip 1: Cook on charcoal briquettes over low flame, use the best BBQ sauce, homemade or store bought.

Tip 2: Sip on something acidic - the Perfect Margarita on the rocks will do the trick.

Tip 3: Want to upgrade the classics? Swap out the typical corn-on-the-cob and make Mexican Street Corn. Charred on the grill, with spicy chili, garlic and Cotija cheese it's an unexpected addition to any summer menu.
