What is Tuesday Night Studio anyways??
A relaxed, creative space where you can play around with our art supplies and make something with your hands. We have watercolors, collage materials, air-dry clay, embroidery thread/needles, linocut supplies, coloring books, and more.

No artistic experience necessary!

We're so excited to collaborate with JustBook-ish again for another installment of Pages to Palette!

This year, we're inviting artists to create work based on the book of short stories "There is A Rio Grande in Heaven by Ruben Reyes Jr.

Selected artists will receive a $500 stipend and be included in an art show at The Local Hand this September. In October, we'll host a book discussion event with the author(!) at JustBook-ish !

JUNK JOURNALING, COLLAGE + BOOK-MAKING
Saturday, June 13
10 am - 2 pm

Combining memory, personal narrative and getting your hands dirty all into one! Make a relic of Summer 2026 through the arts of bookmaking and collage.

Participants will learn to assemble a 5x7 accordion book, and begin, finish or save for later a “junk journal” to remember the year by.

All materials included (paper, cardboard, collage supplies, bone files, etc.).

We will have a brief lunch break, while waiting for our books to dry. Please feel free to bring your lunch or grab something from one of our neighboring restaurants
