L2L Fall 2024 Ep. 2– Securing Children’s Constitutional Right to a Safe, Healthy Climate 07/24/2026

🌎 Flashback Friday: Children's Right to a Healthy Climate

Children are especially vulnerable to the impacts of climate change, making climate action a critical child health and child rights issue.

Two years ago, our Learning to Listen: Conversations for Change series welcomed Olson, JD, of Our Children's Trust to ask: What does it mean to protect every child's right to a healthy climate? She described how climate change affects children's health, development, and well-being—and discussed strategies her public interest law firm uses to fight for the rights of the planet's most vulnerable citizens: children.

Willie Williams IV is using his story to help other kids feel seen.

The 10-year-old Louisiana student, honor roll scholar, and multi-sport athlete was diagnosed with anxiety earlier this school year.

Now, Willie IV has turned that experience into a children’s book about managing anxiety and big emotions.
