"The Chiller Bios" Finished copies of the film helmets created as gifts for Richard Chaves and Bill Duke Chiller Theatre OFFICIAL 2024.
You get the call and make it happen!
With two weeks notice I created two helmets one for Richard Chaves and the other for Bill Duke.
The donor helmet was in terrible shape. It needed a complete body shop refab, I think I sanded that thing every night for 5 days straight. Then it was molded in silicone and two copies were made! I was painting and wiring them up all the way up to the day before the show.
In the end it was amazing to meet these guys, represent The Lair a hand them each a piece of movie history that now sits on their mantle.

Each helmet has a brass plaque underneath that reads:
"Sculpted by Matt Rose.
Worn by Kevin Peter Hall.
Made by Gene Frechette and The Hunter's Lair community."

Chiller Expo October 2024 NJ
I was asked to craft 2 identical as gifts for Richard Chaves (Poncho) and Bill Duke (Mac) from the original movie that started it ALL Predator.
Each helmet is a copy taken from the movie helmet molds made by
Engraved brass plaque underneath reads: "Sculpted by Matt Rose. Worn by Kevin Peter Hall. This helmet was fabricated by Gene Frechette and The Hunter's Lair community"
