Digital Awareness

Wake me up, when Synth-tember starts! Specifically, this Friday 7pm at New Alliance Gallery!!

We've been putting the finishing touches on our new installation piece, "IRL CAPTCHA." In some ways it's typical DA fare, but this time YOUR BODY is the DA board operator (jumpsuit not included).

Are you a human? Can you verify that?? How many of these squares include photos of traffic cones??? Find out the answers to all these important questions this Synth-tember!

A huge thanks to allison tanenhaus and Jess Baggia for curating the show, and the rest of the New Alliance crew for making it all possible. There are so many talented video and digital artists on display - come see it for yourself and hang with us on Opening Night this Friday!

Summer festival season ain't over just yet!! Join us, and a heaping spoonful of some of the North Shore's finest bands, on Saturday 9/12 for a Moon Over Salem Music Fest Mini-fest 🌙🎸📽️🍿🤘

We'll be hijacking the projector feed at Cinema Salem all day, slinging "viz" and raising "bux" for the MOON Rising Artist Scholarship.

This is one flick that won't ever come to streaming, so mark those calendars, butter that popcorn, and we'll see you on the silver screen!

Last month we had a, you guessed it, NICE time hanging out in the The Rockwell for 36 non-contiguous hours of NICETIES at NICE, a fest! We DA'd sets for over 30 incredible acts - these are some of our favorite clips of friends new and old alike. A huge thanks to Alex Pickert and the whole NICE team for bringing us back for our second and NICEST year yet. Thanks for coming out and saying hi, and we'll see you at the next one!

Last nite was AMIABLE at the 1st annual NICE MIX'R! We ripped great sets with Otis Shanty & Gollylagging and got warmed up for the rest of this wacky weekend NICE, a fest !

We'll be living at the The Rockwell stage all day Fri + Sat + Sun with a trillion great bands. Come through and say hi, nab a DA sticker or crayon, and enjoy the rest of the NICEST a fest in town all weekend long in Davis Square!
