These popular 2-hour tours offer spectacular views of historic and contemporary architecture along Boston Harbor, through the Charles River Locks, and the Charles River Basin. Member Exclusive! The Leather District

Join us to explore Boston’s Leather District, nestled between South Station and Chinatown. Largely built after Boston’s Great Fire of 1872, this interesting area was the hub of New England’s leather and shoe industries at the turn of the 20th century. See the grand South Station and handsome historic brick and stone buildings, some with fanciful details honoring the cattle the leather trade depended on. We’ll also introduce you to Boston’s first dog catcher, celebrate America’s Community Health Center movement, and salute South Street Diner, an enduring favorite of clubgoers and other night owls.

🪦 Discover the stories hidden in one of Boston's oldest burying grounds!

Join Boston By Foot on Saturday July 18 for FREE guided tours of the Dorchester North Burying Ground, offered in partnership with the City of Boston's Historic Burying Ground Initiative.

Explore nearly 400 years of history through remarkable gravestones and the lives of the people who shaped Dorchester, from Puritan ministers and Revolutionary War soldiers to skilled stone carvers, merchants, and everyday residents.

🕙 Tour times: 10:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM, and 2:00 PM
