Most often I create original work on canvas but occasionally make smaller pieces on heavy watercolor paper. Luminous No. 1 & 2 (framed abstract oceans) are available to see in my studio tonight during First Friday Open Studios. My studio (and 80+ other artists and galleries in the building!) is open 5-9pm tonight.

I can’t remember the last time my home studio had nothing in it! In early May I delivered a 5’ city commission, sent five ocean paintings off to Nantucket, and delivered three dozen canvas prints to a downtown Boston office — and suddenly had no works in progress on the easels. After a much-needed deep clean it’s a beautiful blank slate for the rest of the years’ work ✨
