I walked in this morning to find Micro Plant Studio’s newly printed Halloween event sign kicked and cracked—a brand new incident of vandalism by a new group of individuals.
Money does not grow on trees, but accountability starts by holding each other accountable. I have called the police and filed a complaint. An updated report has been filed under Case .
In the last few weeks, I have been working extremely hard to put on a free community event for families to enjoy. The last thing I need on my plate is to deal with the darkness of people’s behavior late at night.
If you live or operate a business in the neighborhood and have security or doorbell camera footage along the street, recognize these new individuals, or saw anything suspicious overnight, please DM me directly or contact the police referencing Case .

Over the last few weeks, I’ve been so fortunate to create several floral arrangements that showcase both my range of skills and my deep understanding of materials.
Many people ask if I went to floral school. The answer is a simple, big NO.
I went to art school, where I earned my degree and studied arts education for inclusion. Beyond floral design, my personal artwork spans painting, sculpture, mixed media, and photorealism drawings. In life, every skill we gain can be mastered and transferred to a future career or a passion. Never limit yourself or your skills.
Art is about constantly troubleshooting what is possible. You make mistakes, learn from them, and experiment. There are rules, but once you understand them, you can break them to create something visually stimulating—both for you and for the person experiencing the piece.
This arrangement came with its own set of sculptural and material challenges. The embossed metal bowl arrived dented, throwing off the center of gravity—to the point where the arrangement literally fell flat on its face and damaged a few stems. I had to counterweight one side to keep it upright and stable. Just like in life, sometimes you have to make adjustments—even if it takes a bit longer to reach the outcome you want.
I’m extremely happy with how this turned out. My preference is always the deliberate layering of purple tones, and here I paired rich greens and purples before finishing with deep dahlias for a moody, fall aesthetic. Everything you see here is real, including the grapes.

Every year brings fresh chances to reconnect with ourselves—and sometimes, in that process, we cross paths with the love of our lives.
If you know me, you know I’m a total sucker for a real love story and anything that brings two hearts together.
Up early this morning crafting a special floral piece for Part 1 of this wedding! The formal celebration with family and friends is still a few months away, but being trusted with these quiet, intimate moments beforehand is truly my favorite part of what I do.
