Last week, as part of our 𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺, we convened funders, nonprofit leaders, and community members for an important conversation about how we can all work together to speak up and speak out for immigrant communities across Eastern Massachusetts.

Thank you to Courtney White, Chief of Staff for the City of Boston Mayor's Office for Immigrant Advancement, for sharing her insights on the current immigration landscape, as well as Dr. Geralde V. Gabeau of IFSI - Immigrant Family Services Institute-USA and Ilana Greenstein of PAIR Project for their insightful perspectives on the challenges facing immigrant communities and the organizations that serve them.

Together, we explored how we can create more welcoming communities and strengthen immigrant-serving nonprofits. Attendees left with a deepened understanding of the current landscape and practical ways to protect our immigrant neighbors, including volunteering to help new Bostonians practice their English and combatting harmful, anti-immigrant narratives.
