Neemias Queta earned a fully-guaranteed $56 million extension through 2031 and is positioned as Boston's starting center heading into training camp, even with the arrivals of Mitchell Robinson and Chris Cenac Jr.

Queta had a rough playoff series against the 76ers, averaging 4.1 fouls in just 21.7 minutes per game, but bounced back with 17 points and 11 rebounds on 7-for-8 shooting in Game 7. He spent the offseason recovering from bumps and bruises while playing for Team Portugal in World Cup qualifiers, where he posted strong numbers including 20 points and 11 rebounds in one game before suffering an ankle injury.

In an interview with CLNS Media, Queta emphasized consistency as the key to the Celtics' success this season. "I think the guys that really stand out are the ones that are able to be on the court consistently," he said. "That's what I wanted to be counted upon to do."
