On July 26, 1990, the United States federal government enacted the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) to guarantee that people with disabilities have access to the same employment opportunities as everyone.

Disability Pride Month is an opportunity to celebrate the meaningful contributions that people with disabilities make to our workforce, government, and volunteer organizations. We at JVS are grateful for our wonderful coaches, community partners, and students with disabilities who allow us to continue to support such an important group of people in our communities.
