Back-to-school season is officially here! 🍎✏💙

As students and teachers head back to the classrooms, it's the perfect time to plug into our community and support local education and youth programs. We have tons of rewarding opportunities to give back this season—here are three you can jump into right now:

📚 Help students one on one complete their classwork and high school diploma courses with YouthBuild Boston - Mondays through Fridays from 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM
📝 Tutor students for the HiSET (High School Equivalency Test) exam with X-Cel Education and Madison Park Development Corporation - Multiple days/times every week

Passionate about volunteerism? Passionate about social media? Boston Cares is looking for youth and young adults, ages 13-26, to join our Social Media Ambassador program!

Sign-up monthly to promote, create, and connect with others in your community in support of volunteering and events happening in the Boston area. Do all of this while earning verified service hours!

🌹 Gardening and environmental maintenance with The Rose Kennedy Greenway - Wed Sep 2 from 9 AM - 12 PM
🌻 Help grow food for hunger relief at Gaining Ground - Fridays 9:45 AM - 12 PM

Earlier this month, the Boston Cares team partnered with Sacco's Bowl Haven at American Flatbread Somerville, hosting a night full of trivia, pizza, and new friends. Attendees were able to share their experiences with Boston Cares, from their favorite opportunities to why they volunteer.
