New cosmetics just dropped in the Resource Hub! đź’„
Our partners at Give n' Glow and Project 351 collaborated to create care packages filled with ELF Beauty products and hygiene items from Hope & Comfort at the WBZ / CBS News Boston headquarters! These packages help empower young people at Breaktime and build their confidence as they navigate housing instability. We are so grateful for the collaboration and resources! đź’™

He leads our Resource Hub operations to make sure young adults have easy access to essential services like shower, food, and clothing and support on their path towards long-term stability.

Behind the iconic brownstones and campus photos lies a harsh financial reality: Boston is one of the most expensive cities in the country to be a student.
For young adults without strong financial safety nets, one unexpected bill can turn the dream of higher education into an unattainable reality. Student homelessness often looks invisible—it’s couch-surfing between semesters, working multiple jobs, and choosing between groceries or textbooks.
At Breaktime, we believe no young adult should have to choose between their basic needs and their future.

In Launchpad—the first phase of Breaktime’s program—Associates spend three weeks establishing job readiness through professional development, personal growth, and financial literacy, all while earning a stipend. Our goal is to build financial literacy through open, supportive conversations about money.

One young activist raised $100 for Breaktime with a single lemonade stand! Now, we’re keeping the momentum going by launching our "Pour It Forward" campaign. 🍋
Our goal? Find 50 community members to match that original $100 stand by September 30th so we can turn one child’s inspiring act into a wave of real support.

Huge shoutout to our Young Adult Leadership Council for making our very first Associate Town Hall a major success! 🌟💙
