A new service I’m providing: in-store custom painting in addition to personalized calligraphy on store/brand packaging. It takes a little longer but the customers are happy to keep browsing at the store while they wait.

My studio will be open from 11am to 6pm. I’m at 46 Waltham Street, Studio 216. My building is on the corner of Waltham Street and Washington Street in the South End.

Spent a lovely Sunday helping to celebrate their second year anniversary providing custom grooming to their canine clients. I did ink drawings/paintings of dogs and it was such a pleasure meeting the pups and their moms and dads!

Personalizing gift boxes until 5pm today. Having fun designing on the fly. If you can’t make it today I’ll be back on Thursday, December 21.

The names in the es**rt cards look printed. They are not. I wrote them by hand. The couple wanted something modern. I happily obliged. Thanks for the opportunity to work on this event!

Worked on this shell painting in an online painting class I took with and over the weekend. Learned a lot. Thanks, Carlo!

Chalkboard for .hillbakery . I think one of my favorite things to draw and paint is pastry. I also love researching references images. In this case I found a good reference for a crust and a separate reference for pie . It helps that the client also supplied great images of their pastries 🤩

In the entire time I’ve been doing South End Open Studios (since 2006), I’ve never had a visitor make something FOR ME. wrote my name out in after I wrote her name in . I am so touched, Mishael! I will treasure your gift always!
