The Me2 Boston Cello Quartet (pictured here with two Carolines from the Me2 staff) was all smiles after performing at Bridgewater State Hospital this week. The performance took place outside on an expansive green space, with patients sitting in chairs, on benches, and some lying on blankets. There was a lovely sunset as the concert ended with an arrangement of “California Girls” by the Beach Boys.
Afterwards two different patients approached to ask about the second piece performed, which was their favorite. The piece was Libertango by Piazzolla.
Huge thanks to our four cellists - Jan, James, Martha & Miles - for the hard work they put into preparing this special performance.
