Kate's work focuses on preventing adolescent risk and promoting resiliency through relationships with parents, mentors, schools, and communities — including the role of artificial intelligence. Celebrating Young Voices in Public Health and Youth Substance Abuse Research | GAB 2026

We are pleased to highlight Shivi Tripathi, a student researcher from Eastside High School and the University of Florida, who will be joining Addiction Conference organized by Magnus Group with a virtual oral presentation.

Shivi’s research focuses on teen va**ng and youth e-cigarette use, examining the impact of interpersonal, institutional, and media-based factors on young people in Florida. She has also been involved in research on youth substance abuse through Stanford University’s REACH Lab and has presented her work at the 2025 National Conference on To***co or Health in Chicago.

Her commitment to youth health, education, and substance-abuse prevention represents the importance of bringing emerging researchers and diverse perspectives into conversations around addiction medicine and behavioral health.
