Project Gratitude

People do good deeds everyday, without expecting anything in return. Everyone has a story of a stranger providing a random act of kindness, and these acts inspire and encourage us all to do the same. Cities are known to make people feel isolated, even while in such close proximity to so many other people. Urban life can feel lonely, and has a reputation of making people cold and indifferent without a community of people they are familiar with. Good deeds go largely unnoticed and unappreciated by most because they worry that someone is looking for something in return. If city-dwellers had the opportunity to see all of the good deeds that happened everyday, then Boston would feel more like a community of neighbors than a city full of strangers.
