Honored to serve as a Trustee of the Boston Public Library. Established in 1848, the Boston Public Library opened its doors in 1854 as the first publicly supported, free municipal library of its size in the nation. It was also the first to lend books, feature a children's room, and open a branch library. 📚

Today we honor our Gold Star Mothers and Families who truly know and live every day the words of sacrifice, honor, commitment and courage. I was honored as Chairman of the Veterans Affairs Committee to be the Senate author of four bills that were passed unanimously and bipartisan in both branches of the legislature (two signed by Governor Patrick and two signed by Governor Baker) making Massachusetts number one in the nation supporting our Gold Star Families and our Veterans. Remember our Gold Star Families every day! ⭐️🇺🇸

I am honored to work with my dear friend Representative Paul McMurtry to get things done for the people we represent in Dedham, Westwood and Walpole. He is the ultimate public servant! This is what we do collaboratively  to help people in our community to make things better for our school children and their families. It is not easy work but working together we get the job done.
