Northeastern's new AI Makerspace — built in partnership with Microsoft — is officially opening its doors. Students, faculty and staff can test out the latest AI prototypes or ask burning questions about artificial intelligence.
A grand opening will be held in Snell Library on Thursday, Sept. 24 and Friday, Sept. 25. Afterwards, the space will have regular drop-in hours on weekdays from noon to 4 p.m.

At Northeastern's Symphony Orchestra, students are finding community through music.
“Playing individually is one thing. But to play with others feels very powerful. It’s a feeling of adrenaline that you don’t feel elsewhere, when you play with other people because every person is important and has equal importance in shaping the sound," said first-year student Kabir Budlender.

In celebration of Hispanic Heritage month — which runs from Sept.15 to Oct. 15 — 's Latino student body hosted its annual parade and block party on the Boston campus.
From Bachata to Salsa, the event featured music, live performances and a host of Latino dishes.
