From then to now —what a night! 🩺 On Saturday, we honored our Class of '76's golden milestone and Class of '01's silver jubilee, while welcoming generations of alumni alongside some of our incredible current students. We’re grateful for this community and the wonderful alumni we got to see back on campus!

This past Friday, we celebrated our 2026 Alumni Award recipients, honoring their tremendous contributions to their fields and their strengths as medical professionals. At our luncheon, friends, family and BUMC community members gathered to commend them. Congratulations to our alumni!

In observance of Healthy Aging Month, we had a conversation with Daniel Oates, MD ('00), clinical associate professor of geriatrics at Boston University, to discuss the concept of healthy aging and explore strategies for achieving it.

Our 2026 GMS Distinguished Alumni Award recipient is Tara Moore, PhD (CAMED’00). Our 2026 Distinguished Alumni Award recipient is Omid Farokhzad, MD (CAMED’94,’99). This award honors those who have demonstrated extraordinary dedication, vision and impact in advancing clinical care and biomedical research.

From our alumni to the next generation of healers 🩺 We celebrated Medical Equipment Day alongside our 9th Annual Lorraine Stanfield, MD, Memorial Doctoring Lecture. Thank you to our alums for your generous donations, and we're so proud of our newest class with their first stethoscopes!
