After our volunteers worked together to prepare and pack everything, the next step was bringing it directly to the kids. 💙

We delivered the backpacks, spent time together, and invited the children to become part of the experience by creating and decorating kindness cards for others.

That shift ➡️ from preparing behind the scenes to sitting with the kids, sharing the resources, and watching them create messages of their own was what brought the project full circle.

They received something prepared with care, and then helped create something meaningful to pass forward🫶🏻

A beautiful reminder that impact doesn’t stop when something is given — sometimes, that’s where it begins.

9/11 Day AmeriCorps

Our volunteers came together to organize supplies, prepare school-readiness resources, pack essential items, and get 84+ Community Resilience & School Readiness Packages ready for youth and families.

Every backpack represented time, teamwork, care, and a shared commitment to service.

As part of our 9/11 Day initiative, more than 100 volunteers helped us turn remembrance into meaningful action for our community.

And this was only the beginning. 💙
