Composer Gregory W. Brown's music has been heard on American Public Media’s Performance Today, BBC Radio, Minnesota Public Radio, Kansas Public Radio, and Danish National Radio; his Missa Charles Darwin received its European debut in March 2013 at the Dinosaur Hall of Berlin’s Museum für Naturkunde. Brown's works have been performed across the United States and Europe — most notably at Cadogan Hall in London, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, and Carnegie Hall in New York City. His latest major works — Gentle Dark and Strange Land — will both be premiered during the 2026-27 season.

Composer, conductor, arranger and pianist, recipient of the 2015 Prime Minister Award for Composers, Ziv Cojocaru (זיו קוז’וקרו) is a multidisciplinary musician, active in the fields of classical, contemporary and popular music.
Mr. Cojocaru received both his Master degrees in Composition and in Orchestral Conducting with distinction at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance and completed his Doctoral degree in Composition (Ph.D.) at the Bar-Ilan University.
Dr. Cojocaru is a full-time faculty member of composition and theory at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance and serves as a board member at the Israeli Composers’ League (ICL).

The Professional Writing & Music Technology Division is thrilled to announce that The Rhythm Method Quartet will be returning to Berklee for a residency on October 29 and 30, 2026!
Leah Asher (violin), Marina Kifferstein (violin), Carrie Frey (viola), and Meaghan Burke (cello) will present readings of student pieces, culminating in an afternoon concert of contemporary works for string quartet.
All Professional Writing Division majors are welcome to submit string quartet pieces for consideration. For piece guidelines and to submit, please see the form in our bio.
Submissions must be received by Thursday, October 8, at 4:00pm.

Congratulations to all who took part in the 2026 Composition Reading Orchestra! It was a great two days of new music and collaboration.
