Meet Hattie, lovingly nicknamed Patty. She is a gentle and patient senior girl who has been quietly waiting her turn for far too long. She came to rescue after spending years confined to a small, filthy cage alongside her daughter and many other neglected dogs, and yet despite all of that, she has remained one of the kindest, most loving souls. Now around ten years old, she is savoring the simple things she was denied for so long, a soft bed, good food, and the freedom to finally stretch her legs and experience the world. She has been in rescue for over a year and continues to be overlooked, likely due to her age.

Hattie's future family can expect a calm, grateful, and deeply loving companion who asks for very little and gives back enormously. She has weathered more than most dogs ever will and has done so with grace and patience that is truly humbling. She simply needs someone willing to look past her age and give her the chance to finally shine.

Meet Daisy, a crystal-blue-eyed girl with a gentle soul and a spirit that is nothing short of miraculous. Her start in life was heartbreaking, she is heart worm positive and has shards of metal embedded in her sinus cavity that make breathing difficult and, yes, quite loud. She has been through more trials than most humans will ever face, and yet somehow, every single day, she shows up with a wagging tail and a heart wide open. Despite all of it, she is calm, kind, and deeply loving, wonderful with kids, great with other dogs, and happiest when she is close to someone who makes her feel safe. She has been waiting since last July with zero applications, and that is something we simply cannot accept for a dog this special.

Daisy's future family can expect a loyal, gentle companion who will love them with everything she has and ask for very little in return. She will need continued heart worm treatment and some patience around her breathing, which can be loud, think of it as her own little soundtrack, a reminder that she is still here and still fighting. Daisy does not need a perfect home, just a loving one that sees her for exactly who she is, a resilient and tenderhearted dog.
