The first ever K-pop ensemble (ENGB-230) in history will present our recital on Tuesday 4/28 4:10pm at Berk Recital Hall (1140 Boylston st, 1A) covering k-pop songs from 1990s to current decade.
As a teacher of this class, it felt like creating something from nothing (had to build out the curriculum as we go) , but everyone in the class worked very hard, and we have come this far! I’m so proud of their efforts and progress they made.
If you are around, please come celebrate our humble beginning! I hope this will be a great foundations of this ensemble / learning K-pop opportunities for many years to come.

Pedalboard update for 2026. It’s been one of long overdue to-do lists of 2025. Main goals were upgrading the power unit for more isolated power supply, and adding the basssynth and one more looper. Can’t wait to try this at tonight’s show.

What an epic way to finish up this fall semester with last Friday. I’m still high from this fantastic night of music with amazing musicians. Big shout out to for this tremendous opportunity, and huge thanks to for holding it down for me 💪🏼💪🏼. I loved each minute of the show, and I felt more comfortable with the setting and nuances of the music this time, and got even more inspired to improve for very tangible things as a bassist. The big band music is alive and well, and live music continues to impact people. 🔥🔥🔥
