Before they became legends, they signed a logbook.

This RAF Dambusters log contains an entry from the famous 1943 raid and signatures from Guy Gibson, Leonard Cheshire, David Maltby, and other 617 Squadron pilots.

The logbook offers a firsthand connection to Operation Chastise and one of the most celebrated missions of World War II.

Jimi Hendrix's handwritten working lyrics for Room Full of Mirrors.

Believed to date from 1970 and written on Londonderry Hotel stationery, the two-page manuscript captures Hendrix working on a song he revisited for years but never released during his lifetime.

Sold: Sitting Bull’s rare 1885 contract to appear in Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show sold for $168,213.

The agreement formalized Sitting Bull’s appearance in the show for a four-month season and granted him the exclusive right to sell his own photographs and autographs while on tour.
