I don't post about other artists often, but I can't stay quiet about this one. My nephew Alex () just dropped a song called "Halfway" and I am absolutely blown away. I had NO idea he had this in him.
I've known he produces EDM music. But "Halfway" is a slow, gorgeous ballad, the kind of song built on aching harmonies and lyrics that paint a picture of a love that was always just out of reach. He wrote every word, sang every note, and produced the whole thing himself. It's the kind of song where you hear a line and you just have to hear it again.

It's time! Orfeas will be kicking off the summer festival season this weekend! We'll be performing at the St. Vasilios Greek Festival in Peabody, MA on Saturday and Sunday, May 23-24. Come join us for great food, live music, and lots of dancing. Bring a friend!

Orfeas will be performing tonight at the Assumption of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church - Pawtucket, RI Community Center () for an unforgettable Greek Night hosted by the Greek Pride of RI Dance Troupe (). So nice to see the volunteers at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral coming up to dance with us at the end of the night. This after weeks of preparation and tireless hours of volunteer work at the festival!
