We work to heal the traumatic impact of systemic racism on youth of color in Boston. Its three programs work in tandem to accomplish its goals.
1.

Established in 2007 as a social justice arm of Trinity Church in the City of Boston, Trinity Boston Foundation works to improve the odds for Boston's underserved youth. Trinity Education for Excellence Program (TEEP) is an educational enrichment and leadership development program that guides young people from middle school to and through college.
2. Sole Train: Boston Runs Together embeds free, character-building, non-competitive running and mentoring teams at nine Boston public schools.
3. Trinity Boston Counseling Center provides clinical services, therapeutic mentoring, support and consultation to young people and staff at schools, agencies and nonprofit organizations. Together, the programs engage more than 500 youth and families each year and have an indirect impact on thousands more.

TEEP Summer, we will miss you!! โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿ’™

As we share a few final moments from TEEP Graduation, we want to extend our gratitude to everyone who made this summer so meaningful. To our TEEPers, families, staff, teachers, partners, volunteers, and wider TBC community - THANK YOU for bringing your energy and care to TEEP Summer.

The fall program year will be starting up after Labor Day! ๐Ÿ‚

We're thrilled to be bringing Circle Keepers to 2 NEW SCHOOLS this year: Codman Academy and Murphy K-8 School.

Sole Train will also start up at 4 schools next week, serving 100+ youth and creating a space for young people to grow resiliency and goal-setting skills throughout the school year. ๐Ÿ‘Ÿ

Thank you again and we can't wait for all that's ahead this fall!! ๐Ÿ๐Ÿซโœจ

Our TEEPers wrapped up their summer on August 7, but our youth and young adult staff had one more week together! ๐Ÿ’™

TEEP Clean Up Week brought our LITs, Counselors, Managers, and TBC staff together to close out the program. We started by cleaning and caring for the Trinity Church Boston undercroft that TEEP called home all summer. Then, our LITs visited our amazing partners at Suffolk Construction, where they toured a job site and learned about different careers within the industry.

We ended the week with an unforgettable overnight adventure in the White Mountains with the Appalachian Mountain Club. Together, we tackled multiple hikes - including summiting Mt. Willard - made sโ€™mores, watched the Perseid meteor shower, and spent one last evening in a restorative circle around the campfire. ๐Ÿ”๏ธ๐ŸŒ

Thank you for an unforgettable summer!!

One last TEEP adventure! ๐ŸŽข

Last Friday, we closed out TEEP with a trip to Canobie Lake Park. After an incredible five weeks, our TEEPers have officially wrapped up their summer with us. We couldnโ€™t be prouder of everything they accomplished, tried, learned, and brought to our community this year. ๐Ÿ’™

Now itโ€™s Cleanup Week for our LITs and staff, but for our TEEPers... thatโ€™s a wrap on TEEP 2026!! ๐ŸŽ‰

TEEP has been packed with new experiences lately! ๐Ÿ™Œ

During Weeks 3 and 4, our TEEPers had days full of opportunities to explore new interests and challenge themselves:
๐ŸŽต Music, fashion, and esports workshops and showcases
๐Ÿง— Indoor rock climbing and trying new sports at Dick's House of Sport
๐Ÿ“š Visits to the Boston Public Library and Boston Sports Museum
๐ŸŒณ Field Day at the Esplanade
โ˜€๏ธ Spirit Week fun
๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ The final installment of our three-part speaker series with historian Lionel Porter discussing the true history of American slavery

A HUGE thank you to our partners, guest speakers, and everyone who has made this summer so meaningful for our TEEPers. ๐Ÿ’™ Community Music Center of Boston, Fashion Forward, Foecus Gaming, DICK'S Sporting Goods, Boston Public Library, Boston Sports Museum, and Lionel Porter โ€“ we're so grateful for your investments of time, expertise, and energy into the futures of these young folks.

One week left - stay tuned as we celebrate the final week of TEEP!

Another great week at TEEP! โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿ’™

Week 2 included an exciting trip to the Museum of Science, hands-on STEM challenges like building bottle rockets and testing egg drops, creative exploration in the Makerspace at Boston University, time outside playing football, and daily Math, ELA, and Health classes.

We also welcomed environmentalist and activist Alex Alex for the second installment of our three-part Speaker Series. TEEPers engaged in conversations about systems of oppression, identity, and how communities can come together to create change.

Every week at TEEP gives our young people new opportunities to learn, grow, and discover what they're capable of - stay tuned this summer for more!

TEEP Summer 2026 is officially underway! โ˜€๏ธ This week, students have jumped into math and ELA each morning, learned from Holocaust survivor Jack Trompetter in a newly piloted TEEP Speaker Series, and headed to Blue Hills Reservation for swimming and a cookout.

When asked what she's most excited about this summer, Jasmine, a rising 6th grader, shared, "Going to Canobie Lake and rock climbing and I want to make new friends... [TEEP is] a really good opportunity, you guys should come." ๐Ÿ’™

This summer is filled with field trips, career exploration, hands-on learning, and new experiences designed to help young people build confidence, discover new interests, and create lasting memories. We can't wait to share it all with you - stay tuned!
