INVERTER: Boston, MA- Based (metal, hardcore, hip-hop) with Derek "Deek" Diedricksen, (vocals) Bill Bracken (guitar) Jimmy E (bass) Jeff Lawn (drums) all seasoned Boston musicians who met as co workers at the legendary WBCN Rock of Boston radio station. Formed from the ashes of Age Against The Machine (the RATM- Rage Against The Machine Tribute act that went on to write and record for the WWE- WWF), comes Boston’s Inverter. Featuring Derek "Deek" Diedricksen- vocals, Bill Bracken- guitar, Jeff Lawn on drums (7th Rail Crew, Genuflect (members of Reveille)), and Jimmy Evangelista (bass), Inverter’s sound has often been described as a hybrid of many bands in the vein of White Zombie, Pantera, Mudvayne, Static-X, Prong, Disturbed, Soil, Souls at Zero, and Madball. The band has also shared the stage with the likes of Sabaton, Life Of Agony, Kottonmouth Kings, Flaw, Dope, Twiztid, Billy Bio (of Biohazard), Marc Rizzo (of Soulfly), American Head Charge, Hed(pe), Motograter, Pro-Pain, Demolition Hammer, and more. Their most recent third full length release “Another Avalanche” also features a vocal guest appearance from Tommy Victor of Prong. “A bizarre, yet harmonious mix of NY Hardcore, Nu-Metal, and Rock- with a dash of Quicksand and Helmet”- Metal Warrior Magazine (Germany).
