In early late Spring, Colby Lynn, a friend from my high school days, called me. Colby and I had always stayed connected through quick DMs over the years, and we always said that one day when she met “the one,” I’d help her plan her wedding. When she called, I was immediately excited because she certainly had met the one - her fiancé Dave. But, in the same breath, she sadly shared the heartbreaking news that her father was very sick, and that she and Dave were looking to be married before his last moments with us.

We dove head first into planning a beautiful, intimate wedding on Martha’s Vineyard. Colby and Dave had come to realize one thing - life was too short, and they wanted to start their lives together at the end of this Summer.

What came to life was the most remarkably meaningful, joyful and love-filled wedding day, in a little church surrounded by loved ones, and in a sailcloth under the starts. Colby wore her own gown, and then changed into her mother’s wedding dress, the same one her mother had worn when saying her vows to Colby’s father. And while sadly Colby’s father passed before this day could come to life, he was undoubtedly there, all around them in every moment.

Colby and Dave, we love you. You are amazing in every way. Beautiful inside and out, you deserve a lifetime of happiness. The best is still yet to come. Xx

When designing Riley and Caleb’s wedding, we were striving to emulate the feeling of “a warm Summer day on the patio with a very cold glass of Sauvignon Blanc and great company.” It was all about evoking a feeling above all else.

What came to life was “A Long Summer Day,” in honor of the new Mr. and Mrs. Long 🤍

Where the ocean meets the edge of the dunes is where Sam and JD wed last weekend. An aisle filled with vibrant color and floral varieties that evoked the feeling of walking down a Cape beach path set against sea views. The detailed touches of embroidery and pattern play in all of the right places. Hospitality and touch points for loved ones at every turn. What came together was a golden hour ceremony that felt as warm and inviting as it looked.
