One thing I love about life on the lake is the beautiful loons! Such a beautiful bird, an amazing yet haunting call.... nothing quite like it! So blessed that she got super close so I could snag these shots!

During a phenomenal trip to Port Jefferson, Long Island for a family wedding, I got the oppertunity to enjoy one of my side passions: photography!

Original by Wayne Cochran in 1961, this song wouldn't chart until J. Frank Wilson and the Cavaliers did it in 1964. The song would then be famously covered by Pearl Jam in 1998. Now The GemsTones are taking a crack at it in 2026
