🏡New First Time Homebuyer Fund Launched:

The Boston Home Center and partners are launching the Community Stabilization Fund, a new tool to help low- and moderate-income Bostonians to purchase homes in the neighborhoods they love.

Fenway Forward collaborated with Madison Park Development Corporation, Mission Hill NHS, the City of Boston, Mayor's Office of Housing, and Northeastern University to secure this vital fund.

What a night! 🍴 💚 We’re still celebrating an incredible Taste of the Fenway!

More than 400 neighbors, friends, and supporters joined us for an evening of great food, community, and fun, helping us raise funds to support Fenway Forward’s work in the neighborhood.

A huge thank you to our elected officials, sponsors, restaurant and vendor partners, volunteers, staff, and everyone who bought a ticket, made a gift, or helped spread the word. We couldn’t do it without you!

And, of course, thank you to everyone who came out and made the night so special. We’re already looking forward to next year!

We’ll celebrate by creating nature stamp designs with Ginjer, playing yard games, eating some autumn-themed treats, and enjoying live music by the Homefried Valentines and Simon Davis! Congratulations to our founding member Rosaria Salerno on this well-deserved award!

On October 27, we will honor community leaders who share our passion and commitment to ensuring that everyone in Greater Boston has a place to call home. Rosaria Salerno, former City Clerk for the City of Boston, is this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award recipient.

Rosaria is a longtime housing advocate. In the 1970s, she protested the demolition of housing for the construction of Church Park on and around Mass Ave. In addition to serving as City Clerk, she is a former member of the Boston City Council and a founding member of Fenway Forward (formerly the Fenway Community Development Corporation), where she served on the board until last year.

We look forward to celebrating Rosaria’s longstanding commitment to our community and spotlighting her accomplishments at Champions of Housing!
