One of the BEST parts of pickleball is the friendships and connecting —- and the conversations. Some of us share a ton —- and what a safe space! I often leave these conversations feeling thankful — and feeling like I’m not alone. Whether it be about pickleball or literally sharing a tough conversation one of us had with an adult son. We can be honest and share and in a supportive setting (no judgment) —- nothing feels better than that.

I’m choosing to be Happy! This was one of the best days of my life so far. In Italy soon to be crossing over into Switzerland. Walking with these sweet, HAPPY cows. The scenery, the amazing people, the tough hiking accomplishments, the choice to be happy. I’m all in. I have so much to be thankful for. Life is Good walking with the cows. 🥾🏔️💪🌎🌠🤠

What are your favorite court apparel brands that look attractive on ladies 40+ on the pickleball court (or tennis court!)? In search of attractive and still performs on the court meaning the liner shorts stay put! My favorite brands are J. Pritchard and lululemon (certain skirts). Many of us will pay more if they perform on the court, since those will be the skirts you reach for the most often.

I’m always on the hunt for court apparel that is attractive for ladies 40+ AND performs on the court. A skirt ‘performs’ for me if I’m not fussing with the liner shorts. lululemon for the win. So many compliments. Yes — Lulu is an investment and the pieces last a long time and these in particular perform on the court. Some ‘go to’ pieces for me.

There are some days that stand out more than others and this is one of those days. What a beautiful day celebrating Alexis and AG The setting by the sparkling water, the stunning bride-to-be who wore her moms wedding dress to start then a stunning white feather piece on top of another delicate (sexy) dress. Surrounded by family and loving, caring friends who embrace Alexis with warmth and love. I’m so thankful to be a part of such a perfect day. Thinking back to watching Alexis grow up near our family. It just seems to be going by so fast, yet also perfectly timed. I couldn’t be more happy for you Alexis. Your life is so good; so much to be thankful for. 💕

I got several questions on the details of our recent hiking trip on The Tour du Mont Blanc. Here are my answers to the top 5 questions. This was a trip of a lifetime for us! Very physically demanding and very rewarding. The views will stay with me always —truly out of this world. And how do those refuge buildings get all the flower boxes and food up there for all of us?!!! (Many use Helicopters btw) we lucked out with wonderful people in our group. We all trained, were positive and supportive and love nature. treated us like rockstars: having reservations at all Inns, restaurants and at many refuges (!!), plus they know the best hiking routes to take. Thank you for guiding us and being a calm, confident guide and drinking companion to my husband!! I’m happy to answer more questions.
