Alejandro Ramirez-Cisneros, also known as Jandro Cisneros, is an internationally known film composer, audio engineer, producer, filmmaker, photographer, songwriter and motivational public speaker from Monterrey, Mexico. Before he moved to Boston, USA to study Film Scoring and Music Production & Engineering at the prestigious Berklee College of Music, he completed, in Mexico, a degree in Mass Communication with a major in Film, TV, and Radio from the Tecnológico de Monterrey University and also earned his degree in Classical Guitar Performance from the Escuela Superior de Musica y Danza de Monterrey. He created and hosted a radio show called ‘The Lighthouse of Heaven’ which ran for eight years, eventually bringing the show to the BIRN, the Berklee Internet Radio Network. Alejandro also gained experience in television by working as cameraman, switcher, TV production assistant, reporter, and music composer for the TV shows “Studio” & “Opción Múltiple”, for the Mexican TV network Televisa Monterrey, composing the music for both shows. Recently he scored the music for “Cachorro”, a documentary and official selection at the Eco Film Festival 2016. John Wykes, OMV – “Shot by Shot – The Magic of Moviemaking (2012) and “Nunc Coepi – The Life of Venerable Bruno Lanteri”, (2016). Jandro Cisneros is also the Founder and CEO of The Pillars Productions, LLC, a production company created with the mission of producing uplifting media content, both for visual media and audio. He also founded a music band with his wife called The Pillars, Boston’s latest international musical project based on the proverb: “If you want to go fast go alone, but if you want to go far go together”.

Last night, I performed my first-ever stand-up comedy show and told my first-ever jokes in public. It was one of those moments I’ll never forget.

My biggest thank you goes to my two children. As a single father, having them there to witness this milestone made the night even more meaningful. They got to see that it’s never too late to learn something new, to take a risk, or to chase a dream.
I’m also incredibly grateful to my amazing classmates, our wonderful teachers, my family, and my friends. Thank you for believing in me, encouraging me, and reminding me that growth begins the moment we’re willing to be uncomfortable.
This is just the beginning, and I’m excited to see where this journey leads. Here’s to taking chances, embracing new challenges, and never stopping the pursuit of joy.
My kids laughed… so I’m counting that as my first official comedy review. 😂❤️

I’ll be performing my first-ever 5-minute stand-up comedy set as part of my graduation showcase, and I’d love to invite you!

I was born to be a father.
I still remember being 6 years old, praying for the children I would one day have. Every night, I prayed for them before I even knew their names.
Now, at 40, as a single father to the most amazing children God could have ever given me, I truly couldn’t ask for more.
Sometimes people ask me, “Why aren’t you producing more songs? Why aren’t you doing more, creating more, releasing more?”
And my answer is simple:
Because right now, I’m producing something far more important.
I’m being present.
I’m raising, loving, guiding, protecting, and showing up for my children. And that is the greatest calling, the greatest responsibility, and the greatest joy of my life.
Being their father is the best job God could have ever given me.
My greatest song will always be the love I give my children.

My son Alessandro turns 11 today! ❤️🎉
I love being a dad. I was born to be a dad. It was always my biggest dream, and Alessandro and Esperanza made that dream come true in the most beautiful way.
From holding Alessandro as a tiny baby on my forearm to watching him grow almost as tall as me… my heart is overflowing today.
Being Alessandro and Esperanza’s dad is the greatest gift and celebration of my life.
Thank you all for the birthday wishes and for being part of this beautiful ride.
