Theta Delta Chi

This October, Theta Delta Chi celebrates 179 years of existence. The montage above covers the centennial celebration of Theta Delta Chi in 1947. October, and Founders’ Day specifically, is when Brothers commemorate the establishment of our beloved Fraternity on the Union College campus. Founders’ Day is a tribute to the six founders and all the members who have come before us.

Minerva is the Roman goddess of wisdom and the counterpart of the Greek goddess Athena. She is the symbolic tutelary deity of Theta Delta Chi. Brother Drake Green, Upsilon Deuteron ‘25, drew the bust of Minerva and an owl, her traditional mythological companion. The drawing was based on a statue of the goddess.
