Every year at Easter I eat way too much chocolate and use the extra energy to create an Easter themed painting.
This year when I was thinking about bunnies a Rabbit that haunted my childhood also came to mind, El-ahrairah from the 1978 animated movie Watership Down.
If you haven’t seen it I highly recommend it (just be ready to shed a tear)
One of the vivid memories I have is the blood washing across the meadows, so that’s why I chose Montana agate with its blood like streaks, then I also have a stylised sun with its foil rays to depict Lord Frith, the sun.
