We are committed to celebrate, respect and uplift differences and work together to create the best community for everyone to live in.

Anti-Racist Communities was founded to ensure that cities are progressing to become anti-racist, welcoming and a safe place for all regardless of race, religion, color, creed, ability, sexual orientation and all that make us “different”. After the murder of George Floyd on May 25th, 2020, a group of concerned community members, founded by a Blacktinx womxn, thought enough was enough and started their activism.

Tomorrow May 18th, City Council will vote to approve a staff recommendation to hire Channin Kelly Rae to be the city’s DEI consultant. ARC chairs met with her to learn about her background experience and equity philosophy and we concurred she would be a good choice to help develop and oversee DEI goals in each area of the city. Attached you will see the proposal that the council will vote on. Council needs public comment, please comment with your opinion. Link in comments!
