Threads & Treads is going to open for a surprise shopping day tomorrow, Wednesday 8/5 from 9-12!! It will be shopping ONLY - no donations please!! Hope to see you out there!

Please note - 6th grade and older - must be an independent worker. Please be curteous and let us know as much in advance as you can if you cannot make it so we can open that slot back up. There is a video linked on the main page before you go to sign up for slots, please watch it as it gives you some good insight into what you are coming to do and helps you be prepared to jump in and get to work quicker! If you sign up, show up. We had quite a few people sign up who never showed last year. This takes away opportunities from others as well as leaves us in a lurch help-wise. We look forward to getting to know you this year!

We are closed for the summer and will not be accepting donations until Wednesday August 26th when we are back open for shopping too!

We wanted to give a shoutout to our ATP Pathways Work Crew who come twice a week and work during the school year. They collect donations from the bin by the office and bring them down, take out all our recycling and garbage, vacuum the floors and do general tidying in the store. If there is time left, the will also work on sorting donations! We truly appreciate all their hardwork and time they spend at Threads & Treads. Our two programs have been partnering for years and we always look forward to meeting our new work crews as students graduate or move on to other jobs. A BIG thank you to ATP students and teachers for contributing to the success of Threads & Treads.

THANK YOU to everyone for another successful school year helping our community and beyond! For the 2025-2026 school year, we served over 7600 people, increasing our numbers from the previous school year by 1000 people! We gave out over 18,000 pairs of socks and underwear and spent around $15,500 to make sure we had enough stock on hand to give out every other month! We cannot do this without your support and generosity. Whether it is through donations of goods , money and/or your time, we appreciate everyone's contributions!

Donations of items are not available over the summer. Please hold them until the end of August if you are able! You are always welcome to donate funds to help us bulk up in preparation for next year as are purchases off our Amazon Wish List. ALERT!! Tomorrow, Wednesday June 24th, we will be open from 12:30-3pm for shopping. The school building closes by 3, thus we will also need to. Sorry for the last minute change, but we hope to see you tomorrow at 12:30!

Threads & Treads is open today 6/17 from 2:30 to 6pm. Next week, 6/24, we will also be open from 2:30 to 6pm as it will be our last day for the school year and then we will be closed until the end of August. We hope to see you today as well as next Wednesday. Congratulations to all the students who completed the school year and if we don’t see you before next school year, have a great summer!

Let’s shine a spotlight on Kelly Hennessey, our Honorary Life Membership Awardee for 2025-26! Kelly is the driving force behind Threads and Treads, a clothing bank for kids and their families in Northshore and beyond. She has made an incredible impact on CPMS and the surrounding communities 👏

Today, Saturday 6/6, we are open from 9-12pm! We have socks and underwear for those who didn't get it Wednesday. Our last Saturday until October!

Threads & Treads will be closing for the summer on 6/24 - so 3 more Wednesdays to shop before summer!

Threads & Treads has one more month of sock & underwear distribution left before we close for the summer (last day June 24th). June 3rd & June 6th will be our last days to hand out these items until October. Help us be able to provide for our families. Just as an example, we served over 4,000 people just in the first half of this school year (Aug-Dec in 2025). Any help you can provide - whether it is through funds or through goods - is greatly appreciated!!
