This week's meeting of Northshore Rotary was a special treat!

Our speaker was Patricia Chapman, district governor for Rotary International District 5030. Patricia shared stories about her experience in Rotary and how our district consistently ranks among the top contributors to Rotary's service projects. She also shared some of the district's plans and priorities for the coming year.

We also inducted two new members into our club. We have gotten to know them during several recent events, and are delighted to welcome them as official members. Thanks to Kae Peterson, past district governor, for joining us for the induction.

It was our pleasure to welcome a visitor from Music and Arts in Bothell and hear a bit about this local business. Information available here: https://stores.musicarts.com/wa/bothell/music-store-4758.html

Thanks to Copperworks Distilling for hosting us and to De La Soil for the delicious lunch.

🇺🇸 What an amazing day for our community!

Northshore Rotary was honored to be part of the Bothell 4th of July Parade, celebrating the people, partnerships, and community spirit that make Bothell such a special place to call home.

One of the greatest joys of Rotary is bringing people together, and this parade was a beautiful reminder of what happens when neighbors, families, local organizations, businesses, and volunteers unite with a shared purpose. We loved connecting with so many of you along the parade route and celebrating everything that makes our community thrive.

It was also so much fun having Santa join us as we begin looking ahead to our beloved Bothell Tree Lighting Festival this December! Watching the excitement on the children’s faces as they spotted Santa in the middle of July was absolutely priceless. Their smiles, waves, and joyful reactions reminded us that community is built through moments like these—bringing people together, creating memories, and sharing a little magic along the way.

It was wonderful to see the excitement surrounding the vision of a future Bothell skatepark. The enthusiasm and support from our community show what is possible when people come together to invest in the next generation.

To everyone who walked alongside us, waved from the sidelines, volunteered, and stopped to say hello—thank you. Your kindness, encouragement, and community pride inspire us to continue serving through Rotary.

Together, we are building more than projects—we are building friendships, strengthening our community, and creating opportunities to make a lasting difference.

Thank you, Bothell, for another unforgettable 4th of July! ❤️🤍💙

Service Above Self. People of Action. Community at Heart.

🇺🇸🎉 The lawn chairs are already lined up downtown, the flags are waving, and the excitement is in the air—Bothell is ready for the Fourth of July to celebrate our Independence Day!🎉🇺🇸

Tomorrow is one of our favorite days of the year as our community comes together to celebrate our beautiful hometown.

✨ Children’s Parade: 11:15 a.m.
✨ Grand Parade: 12:00 p.m.
📍 Downtown Bothell

We will be walking alongside Rotarians, our amazing Chamber community, and our Tree Lighting team—proudly representing the future Bothell Skate Park and celebrating everything that makes Bothell such a special place to call home.

Bring your family, your patriotic spirit, and come enjoy a day filled with community, smiles, and hometown pride. Be sure to wave when you see us—we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

❤️🤍💙 Happy Fourth of July, Bothell! See you at the parade! ❤️🤍💙

Celebrating an incredible Rotary year and an exciting new chapter ahead!

This week, our NorthShore Rotary family gathered for our End of Year Celebration, reflecting on a year of service, friendship, and community impact. It was wonderful to come together, celebrate our accomplishments, and look ahead to all that’s to come.

A special thank you to our family and friends who joined us for this celebration. The laughter, fellowship, and memories made throughout the evening reminded us that Rotary is so much more than service projects—it’s about the relationships and friendships we build along the way.

A heartfelt thank you to our outgoing President, Derek, for your leadership, dedication, and passion for serving our community. We are grateful that you will continue serving as our Membership Chair. Thank you as well to our outgoing Board members, including Ally and Tom, for your time and commitment.

Ally, we will miss you on the Board and in our weekly meetings, but we know our paths will continue to cross as we serve our communities together. Once a Rotarian, always a Rotarian. 💙💛

We’re excited to welcome our 2026-2027 leadership team:
