This month, we are excited to spotlight Jami Turner, founder of The Travel Fanatic, based in Odessa, Texas! Since launching her agency in 2014, Jami has grown her business from FIT reservations to making group travel a major part of her agency.

Q: What inspired you to become a Travel Advisor, and what keeps you passionate about it today?
A: I was “that person” who loved to travel and was planning my own family vacations for years. After multiple friends reached out and asked me to assist with planning their vacations I decided that I should take this passion of mine and turn it into a business.

Over the years I have helped hundreds of guests with their travels and what keeps me excited and passionate about my work is knowing that I have the privilege of helping them create memories that will last a lifetime.

Q: What is one standout Europe itinerary you’ve created for a client with Europe Express?
A: Every itinerary is “standout”, but the one I would say made the biggest impact was a group trip I booked to Athens, Greece where over 100 guests joined me prior to a cruise we were taking. From the 50+hotel rooms to the 3 coaches, local guides, etc I was able to make this trip something my guests will never forget! I am so thankful I chose EE to partner with on this as they made everything incredibly easy and ultimately made me look like a rockstar to my guests!

Q: What advice would you give to fellow Travel Advisors looking to grow their Europe business?
A: If “Europe” is something “new” to an agent and they are not confident in their own knowledge of the destination(s) then EE is a must! Working with a company that focuses on this region, has extensive knowledge and even has an office with staff in Barcelona is huge! Don’t risk planning a trip for clients on your own to an unknown area to you in Europe…….reach out to Europe Express and work with a destination specialist who will make you look like a rockstar too!

✨ Meet the Expert: Pavel Krajnak, Product Manager ✨

At Europe Express, our team is dedicated to helping Travel Advisors impress their clients every step of the way. This month, we're spotlighting Pavel Krajnak, Product Manager for Greece, Portugal, Croatia & the Balkans, and Turkey, and learning more about his expertise, passion for travel, and the destination knowledge he brings to our Travel Advisor partners every day.

Q: What is your role at Europe Express, and what does a typical day look like for you?
A: No two days are the same, which is one of the things I enjoy most about the role. My day can include working with destination partners, analyzing travel trends and customer feedback, reviewing sales performance, and exploring new opportunities to enhance our portfolio. I also spend a lot of time staying connected to the destinations I manage, ensuring our portfolio remains relevant, competitive, and aligned with what travelers are looking for today.

Q: How do you support Travel Advisors in your role, and what value do you strive to bring to their business?
A: I support Travel Advisors by combining destination expertise, market insights, and product development to ensure they have access to experiences and products that truly meet their clients' needs.
My goal is to build a portfolio that Travel Advisors can confidently recommend, knowing it has been carefully selected with quality, value, and guest satisfaction in mind.

Q: If you could live anywhere in Europe for a year, where would it be and why?
A: This is a tricky one because I've already been lucky enough to live in six different countries, including four in Europe. Originally from the Czech Republic, I've called Greece, Portugal, and now Spain home at different points in my life, and I've loved every experience.
I'm very happy in Spain and not planning to move again anytime soon. But if I had to choose one place for another year, it would probably be Greece again.
