I spy with my little eye some Eagle music teachers making waves on the beach! With his flippers tapping and wings swaying, Ernesto couldn’t help but belt out a few salty tunes with Mrs. Carruthers—our wonderful current music teacher—her family, and Mrs. Ronningen—our beloved former music teacher—turning Seaside, Oregon into a real-life beachside concert. Did you know Seaside’s Promenade is nearly two miles long? Ernesto also waddled to Cannon Beach, where iconic Haystack Rock rises 235 feet from the sand, splashed around the historic batteries at Fort Stevens, and explored the wild beauty of Indian Beach at Ecola State Park, a famous filming spot for movies like "The Goonies." From sea shanties echoing on the breeze to poolside giggles, Ernesto’s Oregon coast adventure was a tidal wave of fun!

Grüezi from Switzerland! Ernesto’s latest adventure took him and this wonderful family to the breathtaking Kanzeli viewpoint, where Lake Lucerne sparkles below, and the mountains seem to touch the sky. They also soaked in the mineral baths of Rigi Kaltbad—relaxing in warm waters with panoramic Alpine views. What a Swiss dream!

Ernesto couldn’t resist returning to South Dakota, this time soaring in with a new squad of eagles. He marveled at the dramatic landscapes of Badlands National Park—its striking rock formations and fossil beds made it feel brand new all over again. In Deadwood, he explored the town’s Wild West history, and, while in Rapid City, he splashed around at the local water park and ventured deep underground to discover Wonderland Cave.

Ernesto is so excited to meet and travel with our new Eagle families! This amazing family took Ernesto all the way to Pennsylvania for a sweet and scenic adventure. First up: Roots Market in Lancaster County, where the fresh produce and Amish treats kept everyone chirping for more. Then it was off to Hershey Park to ride roller coasters and sample chocolatey treats. Finally, they explored Philadelphia, where there was no shortage of Eagles—and fans—cheering on their favorite feathered friend!

This family packed Ernesto in for a three-state adventure: Oregon, Nevada, and California. Ernesto swooped over Crater Lake, which is nearly 6 miles wide—talk about making a splash! In California, he soared above the mighty redwood trees (some reaching over 350 feet tall!), spotted some fellow feathered friends and marveled at the amazing animals at the San Diego Zoo (did you know it’s home to more than 12,000 animals?), and took on the twists, turns, and thrills of the rides at Legoland. Finally, a stop in Las Vegas allowed these students to introduce their favorite school mascot to their family.

Ernesto is now more than 25% of the way to visiting all 39 Washington state counties. Thanks to this amazing Eagle student, he checked off Kittitas. While at Suncadia Resort, Ernesto splashed around in the pool, explored beautiful trails, and tried his hand at mini golf. Who will spot Ernesto next on his travels?

🦅 Ernesto soared into his 5th state of the summer! South Dakota was full of adventure, and these travel companions made every moment memorable. From the jaw-dropping views of Badlands National Park to the historic Minuteman Missile Site and the quirky charm of Wall Drug, these Eagles truly made the most of their journey!

At the Badlands, Ernesto loved watching the sunrise over the colorful rock formations and spotting bighorn sheep along the scenic trails—nature at its wildest! At Wall Drug, he snapped photos with the giant jackalope, found some awesome eagle-themed souvenirs, and couldn’t resist the famous homemade donuts.

Who knows where Ernesto will fly next? Keep your eyes to the sky! ✈️🦅

🦅 These Eagles took their favorite Eagle on a 4th of July camping trip to Hood Canal and Belfair State Park! 🌲They also visited the charming town of Poulsbo, known as "Little Norway" for its Scandinavian heritage. Did you know Belfair State Park is famous for its tidal flats—broad, sandy areas that are exposed at low tide and full of marine life? 🌊🦀 Two more Washington counties checked off for Ernesto’s summer adventures! Next time, it could be your turn to let Ernesto tag along—where will you take him?

This amazing HCA family took Ernesto on not just one, but TWO epic adventures! 🦅✈️ While we all know eagles love to soar, who would've thought this bird is also a fan of swimming? 💦 As Ernesto enjoyed the refreshing waters, he discovered that Lake Chelan is the third deepest freshwater lake in the country! 🏞️ But the journey didn’t stop there—Ernesto left the USA for the sparkling, turquoise Caribbean waves of the Dominican Republic. 🌴🌊 Keep your eyes on the sky…or the sea…because you never know where Ernesto will pop up next!
