This past week has been a whirlwind of community support!
Thursday Chef Howie prepared Filet Mignon for 550 people for the Brad Brotherton Steak Out annual event benefitting Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research and raising 1.1 million dollars!

On Friday he manned hole #7 at Newcastle Golf, providing golfers supporting Jacob Green's Golf Classic with tastes of a specialty cocktail made with his own Kur Gin along with seared shrimp with spicy cocktail sauce in cucumber cups also raising money for Fred Hutch cancer Research.

Also on Friday (where does he find the time???!) Chef Howie and Woodland Park Zoo board members combined their efforts for a special auction item including mushroom foraging and dinner for 8 at the board members home. This single item alone raised $23K for the zoo!

On to Monday Chef will be at the American Cancer Society Golf Classic at Sahalee for more spirits tasting and shimpc cevichemade by Seastar Restaurant and John Howie catering!

Thank you Chef Howie for all you do and giving your employees a place we can work at and feel proud to be a part of.

Another new addition to the menu, our
Roasted Kalbi Chicken with Kim Chee Rice Cake, Grilled Pineapple Relish, and Blistered Snap Peas.
