Just finished this project at a home in Edmonds, and I'm really happy with how it turned out.

The front of the house faces south, so it gets hammered by the summer sun. Since indoor shades weren't a good option because of the dogs, I installed exterior shades that help keep the house cooler, add daytime privacy, and still let the homeowners enjoy the view.

Out back, I installed two more exterior shades on the deck to cut the evening glare from the west without blocking the view.
