Boulderthon
Run a Marathon in the Happiest City in the US! Boulder Marathon, Half, 10k, 5k!
Whether you’re running 26.2 miles or 3.1, there always seems to be enough left in the tank to celebrate crossing that finish line 👏
See you Sunday, let’s run it back!!!
Why do you run cross country? 🏃♀️🏃♂️
For these young runners, it’s about seeing their progress, staying active, doing something they enjoy, and learning to keep going when things get tough.
Running has a way of teaching you what you’re capable of, one mile at a time. 💛
We’re excited to celebrate that same spirit at the fourth-annual Boulderthon Kids Run on Sunday, presented by Boulder Country Day School!
Endurance athletes ask a lot of their hearts. And as we get older, paying attention to heart health becomes an important part of staying active. ❤️🏃
For masters athletes, age-related cardiovascular changes and individual risk factors can still matter, even with years of consistent training.
Knowing your health history, paying attention to new or unusual symptoms, and keeping up with recommended screenings can help you continue doing what you love for years to come.
Boulder Community Health is proud to sponsor the Heart to Heart 5K at Boulderthon. BCH’s Boulder Heart is the area’s only full-service cardiology program, providing everything from diagnostic testing to advanced lifesaving treatments.
Train smart. Know your heart. Keep moving forward. ❤️
One week out from ...how we feelin?! 🏃
At Boulder Country Day, running is about so much more than times and how fast you can go. 🏃♀️🌿
It’s the scenery, the trails, the friendships, and the community built along the way. Cross country gives students a chance to get outside, move their bodies, and learn about drive, passion, and what it means to be part of a team.
We’re proud to have Boulder Country Day School presenting our fourth-annual Kids Run and helping inspire the next generation of runners. 💛
We can’t wait to see you on race day!
Fast miles and a smaller footprint. That’s the goal at Boulderthon powered by Lululemon this year, and our sustainability advocate Tina Muir is breaking down exactly how we’re getting there.
Here’s what to know before race week:
⬩”Plogging” shake out run on Saturday, Sept. 26th from Fleet Feet Boulder (Boulder Running Company). A slow jog combined with picking up trash on the course. Great way to build community before race day. 🏃🏻
⬩Support local first. Skip the usual coffee order and grab Astro Coffee instead. ☕️
⬩Reusable cups on course from Hiccup Earth. Toss them in the black bins with yellow lids when you’re done so they can be washed and reused.
Compostable cups hold your electrolytes. Those go in the white bins. 🥤
⬩Gels stay off the ground, especially near the reservoir. Use the gel collection boxes after aid stations or hold onto them until the finish. They get sent to TerraCycle US to be recycled. 📦
⬩Your gel wrappers fund real change. Boulderthon is donating $50k to refresh City of Boulder, CO’s Tom Watson Park, matched by another $50k, including a bench made possible by recycled gel materials. 🌳
⬩Your medal is made from 100% recycled materials. 🏅
⬩Grab a Open Water at the finish. It comes in an infinitely recyclable aluminum can. 💦
⬩Recycle your bib. Drop it in the bib recycling bins at the finish, safety pins on or off, for something special in return. ♻️
Save this post to reference before race day or head to Tina Muir 💚🌎🏃♀️’s page for a full refresher right before race week!
We’re excited to welcome Ultimate Longevity Center Boulder as a pop-up vendor at Boulderthon!
Built around a personalized approach to recovery, performance, and long-term health, Ultimate Longevity Center is bringing a new kind of wellness experience to Boulder.
Stop by their pop-up during race weekend to learn more about what’s coming to Boulder and how they’re helping people understand, restore, and optimize their health.
See you September 27! ⛰️
Hydration is part of taking care of the heart that carries you through every mile. 💧❤️
Staying hydrated helps maintain blood volume, making it easier for your heart to circulate blood and deliver oxygen to working muscles. When you’re dehydrated, your heart may have to work harder to keep up.
That’s why we’re proud to have Boulder Community Health sponsor the Heart to Heart 5K at Boulderthon. BCH’s Boulder Heart is the area’s only full-service cardiology program, providing everything from diagnostic testing to advanced lifesaving treatments.
Take care of your heart, stay on top of your hydration, and we’ll see you at the start line on September 27. 🏃♀️🏃♂️
