Chasing Hatches + Pressing Patches.
The Simms Working Wader Tour is coming to Front Range Anglers!
Join us Friday, October 2, as we celebrate the opening of our new location. The Simms Road Repair Crew will be here from 10 AM–4 PM, ready to take a look at your leaky waders and make repairs right here at the shop.
Repairs may be limited to the first 40 pairs, so if your waders have seen better days, bring them by early and let the Simms crew get them ready for another season on the water.
We’ll have the new shop open, plenty going on throughout the day, and the Simms van parked out front. Come check out the new location, say hello, and celebrate the next chapter of Front Range Anglers with us.

We’re moving!
Our new home is starting to take shape, and we wanted to give you a first look at where Front Range Anglers is headed next.

We’ll be moving SEPT. 29-30, CLOSED OCT. 1, with our new location opening OCTOBER 2nd!
Online and Phone orders will still be available Oct. 1st.
There’s still plenty of work to do before the doors open, but we’re excited about what’s ahead. We’ll be sharing more updates as the new shop comes together.

Cooler mornings are starting to settle into the Front Range, making for great days on the water.

Flies & Rigs Working for September
We’re still seeing warm days and plenty of summer bugs, but the first signs of fall should start showing soon. It’s also time to start looking forward to some of our favorite fishing of the year, STEAMERS!
STREAMERS
Our favorite way to fish Fall! Fish are active, and as the water cools throughout the month, more opportunities to move bigger fish on streamers will open up.
Flies:

• Sparkle Minnow
• Woolly Bu**er
• Hot Head Thin Mint
• Balanced Leech
DRY FLY
There’s still plenty of dry fly fishing to be had. Terrestrials will definitely be on the menu on these warmer days while smaller mayflies become more important as we move through the month. Keep an eye out for Blue-winged Olives as the weather cools, especially on those cloudy days.

NYMPHING
As temperatures start to drop, nymphing will become more productive. Smaller midges will become a bigger part of the menu as fish begin settling into the cooler water temps.

Be ready to adjust as conditions change and take advantage of whatever the river gives you.
